A night at the museum

Meeting customers is a great part of my job at Love Invited. I adore hearing about all the plans, the venue and also being used as a sounding board when it comes to ideas and solutions.

When I visited Andrea and Ed at their home near Manchester one Saturday morning it was lovely to see that they were already in the throws of planning their big day, even though it isn’t until later this year.

Before I started to show them all the sample I had brought for them to peruse and hopefully gain a few ideas from I asked the all important question ‘So where’s the venue for the big day?’ They told me that they had booked the Manchester Museum as their venue for their service and reception. What’s more the whole event will take place under the full scale T-Rex skeleton! I had no idea that this was possible but what a brilliant place to hold your wedding. It will make a great setting and will also give your guests a day and night to remember.

Once I was told of this amazing venue we set about choosing an invitation style. Andrea and Ed were quick to opt for the Royal Elegance wedding invitation collection. With a few design adjustments I was able to go back to them with a tailored design to complement the location of their wedding day celebrations. The wedding invitation has taken the form of a 6 page 135mm² with a tear off RSVP that guests can easily fill in and drop in the post. As for the design itself the embellishment was adjusted slightly to accommodate an ammonite and hand finished with a beautiful pearl. The colour scheme for the day is going to be ivory and Claret, which looks stunning on the invitations complemented with a hint of gold.

With the invitations almost complete all that is left are the finer details such as table plan, order of the day and table names. Lets hope they name the tables after some scary dinosaurs!

I wish Andrea and Ed all the best for their wedding day and life together. I can’t wait to see the photos.
