When very good friends of mine, Alex and Sarah asked if I would mind designing and producing their wedding stationery, I jumped at the chance. This was the first official project for Love Invited and I couldn’t wait to get started.

The items required included day and evening wedding invitations, RSVP cards, additional information cards, place cards, vintage framed table plan, table names, order of the day, table menus and last but not least thank you cards.

Their wedding stationery design included an ornate monogram featuring their full names, hand finished with pearls. The pearls were chosen to complement Sarah’s jewellery for their wedding day, which looked beautiful against their colour palette of teal blue and grey. The reverse of the wedding invitation was finished with a beautiful flock pattern that perfectly complemented the venue of Mitton Hall near Whalley, Clitheroe in Lancashire. As there were a number of elements to the invitation the three A6 cards were held together with an ivory ribbon and tag detailing the date of their wedding and repeating their monogram.

Vintage frame mount table planTo say the day was perfect is a bit of an understatement. My husband Dave and I, were privileged to be invited to the full day, which was fantastic. Not only did Sarah look beautiful and Alex ever so handsome, all my hard work definitely paid off, as the tables looked amazing. Not to mention the table plan, which was double mounted and framed in a stunning ornate vintage style frame.

All that is left to say is thank you so much for asking me to work with you on your wedding stationery and for inviting us. I wish you both every happiness together.
